Brighton Want to Keep Duo - Ipswich Town News

Brighton assistant manager Dean White says the League One side are keen to re-sign Town duo Matt Richards and George O'Callaghan when their current loan spells end. Richards is with the Seagulls until December 21st, while O'Callaghan's stay is up on New Year's Eve.

White says the Sussex club want Richards, O'Callaghan and Le Havre's David Martot, the trio having impressed up to now: "That is something we are looking at. It would be great if we could.

"They have all done well. It is something we have got to sit down and discuss with them and try to sort things out.

"There are no guarantees. When players come to us on loan they are putting themselves in the shop window as well and if they have come in and done well for us then other teams will take note of that."

Richards's Town deal is up in the summer of 2009, while O'Callaghan's ends in June next year.
