Legend in Legends - Ipswich Town News

Town legend and all-time top goalscorer Ray Crawford has added a further date to his book-signing schedule. The Blues' first ever England international's autobiography Curse of the Jungle Boy is published later this week.

In addition to his appearance at the Planet Blue store at Portman Road from 11am to 12.30pm on Saturday morning, Ray will be in the Legends Bar in the Greene King Stand after the match, from about 5pm.

The signing is the first of a number of planned ITFC Supporters Club post-match events in Legends Bar and Liz Edwards, the new chair of the Supporters Club, and some of her colleagues will be present to field any questions.

Ray will give all his profits from the book to charity, with funds raised being divided between the Motor Neurone Disease Association and the Oakley Waterman Caravan Foundation, which gives terminally ill children and their families respite in holiday caravans in West Sussex.

The book has been written with Michael Wood, whose father Patrick was the Town doctor during Ray's time with the club.

Curse of the Jungle Boy can be purchased here.
