U18s Start Youth Cup Campaign at QPR - Ipswich Town News

Town's U18s take on QPR at Loftus Road this evening in the third round of the FA Youth Cup (KO 7pm).

Midfielder Ed Upson, 18, already has an FA Youth Cup winner's medal to his name, having scored the winning goal in the 2005 final while still at school.

Also named are striker Jordan Rhodes, who scored his first senior goals while on loan at Oxford United recently, full-back Kurt Robinson and midfielder Jai Reason.

Bermudian first-year scholar Reggie Lambe is also included, as is Republic of Ireland U17 international striker Paul Murphy.

Regular centre-half Tommy Smith is currently on the sidelines with a knee injury.

U18s: Andy Plummer, Joe Clemo, Kurt Robinson, Matt Daniels, Paul Watson, Luke Hyam, Ed Upson, Jai Reason, Jack Ainsley, Jordan Rhodes, Reggie Lambe, Paul Murphy, Lewis Ward, Craig Calver, Tom Eastman, Nathan Tooms.
