TWTD on Baker and Kelly - Ipswich Town News
TWTD and our excellent Portman Road: Home of the Bard T-shirts have received a namecheck on the similarly superb Baker and Kelly podcast.
The shirt, designed by Dan Thomas, was inspired by a Town supporter on a recent show who claimed that a fan who is the spit and image of William Shakespeare is a season ticket holder in Churchmans. Subsequently there have been further sightings of The Bard at other grounds throughout the nation.
Show regular Alex Constantinou brought in the shirt where it was given the Baker and Kelly stamp of approval. It is now featured on the Baker and Kelly Appreciation Society page on Facebook. The podcast can be downloaded from the Baker and Kelly website.
TWTD had previously stepped in to help resolve a dispute between Alex and Town over his recent programme book which had seen the Blues fan threaten to abandon the club, something we hope our Acas-like actions will now have prevented.
Alex's book, The Ipswich Town FC Programme Guide, is available from Alasdair Ross, who runs the Ipswich Town Programme and Memorabilia Club, for £9 including postage (cheques made payable to A Ross) from 58, Lonsdale Close, Ipswich. IP4 4HD.
The Home of the Bard shirt and our many, many other designs (ideal Christmas presents, obviously) can be viewed and purchased here.
