Gorawski Set for Second Spell - Ipswich Town News

FC Moscow midfielder Damian Gorawski is set to join the Blues for a second trial spell, according to national newspaper reports this morning. The Polish international impressed Jim Magilton while at Portman Road last month and his return for a further period was expected.

After his first spell Magilton said he wanted to see the Pole in match action: "Damian might go home and then come back as a game is not likely for a while."

Gorawski is primarily a right winger, although he has also played in other midfield positions during his career. The 28-year-old is available on a free transfer with his FC Moscow contract having come to an end.

Capped 14 times by Poland, scoring one goal, Gorawski, 5ft 8in tall, started his career with Ruch Chorzów, joining Wisła Kraków in 2003 before a £900,000 transfer to FC Moscow, the club formerly known as Torpedo-ZIL, two years later.

The Ruda Śląska-born player was forced out of the Polish squad for the 2006 World Cup at the last minute due to what was reported to be severe asthma, although he has subsequently been given the all-clear by specialists.
