Northern Ireland Should Follow Town - Magilton - Ipswich Town News
Town midfielder has said that his country should follow the Town's lead if they want to prove as successful as the Blues have this season. The Ulsterman was talking ahead of the clash with the Czech Republic tomorrow.
Magilton said: "We went into this season as underdogs in every game.
We set out our stall and we said that we would have 38 cup finals. We've got an inner strength at Ipswich and we said that we've got to try and build a cocoon around us. Good or bad media, it wouldn't make any difference and it would be about where we finished in the League."
He added: "It's a long campaign and where we finish in the League is how we will be judged. I think Northern Ireland is exactly the same. Every game is a cup final and we are always up against it. I think we can learn from what Ipswich have done this season."
