Town Linked With Swedish Defender Olsson - Ipswich Town News
Reports in Holland are linking Town and Newcastle United with 24-year-old Swedish central defender Jonas Olsson, who is currently with Dutch side NEC Nijmegen.
Olsson, who started his career with Landskrona BoIS in his home country, is a former Swedish U21 international who has also been interesting clubs in Germany.
NEC are willing to sell the 6ft 3in tall left-sided defender in January if they receive the right offer. Olsson, who is known for his tough tackling and high yellow card count, is contracted to the Eredivisie side until 2009.
