Gudjonsson Red Card Upheld - Ipswich Town News
The FA have upheld the red card shown to Burnley midfielder Joey Gudjonsson during their game with Preston at the weekend. The Icelander will now miss the Clarets' trip to Portman Road on Saturday.
Gudjonsson will miss four games after the FA added a further match to the initial ban for what they considered a frivolous appeal.
Burnley will also be without midfielder Chris McCann, who scored the winner against the Blues at Turf Moor last season, as he was also sent off in the feisty fixture with the Lilywhites.
