Bruce Set to Miss Coventry Clash - Ipswich Town News
Central defender Alex Bruce will miss Saturday's trip to Coventry City after suffering a recurrence of his recent groin injury at Leicester on Boxing Day. The Irish international was replaced by Fabian Wilnis in the second half at the Walkers Stadium.
Bruce says the injury got progressively bad during the game: "There are still some problems there.
"It got worse as the game went on and I cannot see myself playing on Saturday.”
Wilnis is likely to come into the defence alongside De Vos at the Ricoh Arena.
Town are also expected to be without Spanish defender Sito who suffered a concussion during the home game with Burnley at the weekend.
