Jim: Bid Rejected - Ipswich Town News
Boss Jim Magilton has revealed that the Blues' bid for a player has been turned down. Magilton describes the player as one who “has played in the Championship”, but his identity remains a mystery.
Magilton told the club site: "We have made a substantial bid for a player who has played in the Championship and it's been rejected.
"We will now weigh up our options, but we have other targets and we will see how things progress over the next few days.”
David Norris, a player who interested Magilton in the summer and who it has been speculated may be the player targeted, played the full 90 minutes for Plymouth as they lost to Cardiff earlier today.
