Jim Confirms Norris Bid - Ipswich Town News
Boss Jim Magilton has confirmed that Plymouth Argyle midfielder David Norris was the subject of the seven-figure bid the Blues had turned down earlier in the week and has revealed that he has made another offer for a player.
Magilton told the club site: "David Norris is a player that I have admired for while and I can confirm that we made a seven-figure bid for the player.
"That bid was rejected. That might not be the end of the matter, but we are now exploring other possibilities and have made an offer for another player."
TWTD believes the bid for Norris was an initial £1 million plus a further £500,000 based on appearances and Town reaching the Premier League. We understand the club plan a second offer for the 25-year-old.
The identity of the other target is currently a mystery with a number of players linked in recent days and in the weeks and months prior to the transfer window opening.
