Strong Reserves Side Faces Peterborough - Ipswich Town News

Town have named a strong side for this afternoon's reserves game with Peterborough United at Playford Road (KO 2pm). The match was moved from Portman Road to reduce the number of games being played on the main pitch.

Senior stars Dan Harding, George O'Callaghan, Richard Naylor, Jaime Peters, Matt Richards and Gary Roberts are all included in the starting line-up.

Academy central defender Tommy Smith is back in action after recovering from the knee injury which has kept him out of action in recent weeks.

Town top the Pontin's Holidays Football Combination League East Division having won all seven of their games so far this season. Norwich City are in second position four points behind but having played four more matches.

Reserves: Supple, Casement, Harding, O'Callaghan, Smith, Naylor, Peters, Upson, Roberts, Murphy, Richards. Subs: Synnott, Plummer, Reason, Robinson, Ainsley.
