Rhodes and Legwinski Back - Ipswich Town News

Jordan Rhodes and Sylvain Legwinski have returned to training after missing games earlier in the week due to illness. Rhodes was left out of the reserves side which defeated Peterborough, while Legwinski missed the FA Cup tie with Portsmouth.

Physio Matt Byard told the club site that the duo are now back in training: "There are so many different ailments going around and Leggy and Jordan were both struggling with colds last week.

"They have missed training at the start of the week but are OK now and took part in a full session today."

Jon Walters and Jason De Vos are also backing training after illness and a rib injury respectively, but Owen Garvan is a concern after picking up a bug.

Meanwhile, reported Town target Paul Parry says he wants to stay with Cardiff: "I'm happy with my form at City and enjoy living here, so there is no reason for me to go anywhere else.”

The Blues and Norwich City are both understood to have enquired about the availability of the Welsh international.

There appears to be nothing new on the David Norris front, although Plymouth's attempts to sign Sheffield Wednesday's Glenn Whelan may be significant. The Pilgrims and Burnley have both had bids snubbed by the Owls with Plymouth perhaps seeing the Irishman as a replacement for Norris if he were to move on.
