Foxes Want to Keep McAuley - Ipswich Town News
Leicester City boss Ian Holloway has stated his intention to keep Town target Gareth McAuley at the Walkers Stadium. Last week the Foxes turned down a Blues offer for the Northern Ireland international, with reports yesterday claiming that Town would make a renewed bid to sign the 28-year-old.
Holloway told a Midlands newspaper: "I don't deal with speculation. It's the maddest time of the year, but it means we have some half-decent players if people are talking about them.
"Gareth McAuley has been excellent since I have been here. He will learn and improve in a regular system and a regular team.”
