Clapham Should be Fit - Ipswich Town News

Jamie Clapham should be free from the ankle injury picked up in training at the end of last week. He will look to continue his run of 170 consecutive games since he arrived from Spurs at the beginning of 1998.

Clapham said of his injury: "Although there is no swelling the heel is quite painful but I'm determined to play. There is no way that I want to miss out. It seemed so innocuous when I went over on it last week and didn't seem too bad. It is sore but I should be all right for Monday."

Town have no other fitness worries, but Jim Magilton will miss out as he is serving his one match suspension for berating Andy D'Urso after the Chelsea match.

Town have delayed releasing details of the next year's season ticket prices. These were due for announcement later this week, but now fans will have to wait until Thursday 12th. All details as soon as we have them.

With Jim Magilton off captaining Northern Ireland yesterday we thought we should look back at the career of another Town player who captained the Northern Irish. class="storytext">Thanks again for the increasingly excellent response to the Bobby Robson tribute begun earlier this week. There have been so many we've had to split them into separate pages. As we said we hope to gather them together to give to the great man on his return to Portman Road. Add your memories: http://www.twtd.co.uk/robson
