Liverpool Game in Doubt! - Ipswich Town News
The re-arranged match with Liverpool on Tuesday, April 10th is in doubt after the Merseysiders requested that the FA Premier League postpone the game. The match was originally scheduled for Saturday, April 7th, but Liverpool play Wycombe in the FA Cup semi that day and the match was moved.
Manager Gerard Houllier wants the game moved because the Reds are set to play four games in eight days which he sees an unacceptable. The Premier League have confirmed the request with a spokesman saying: "We have received a letter from Liverpool and it is being considered at this moment in time."
