Alexander Linked With Rangers - Ipswich Town News
Scottish newspapers are linking Town keeper Neil Alexander with a move to SPL giants Rangers. The 29-year-old is claimed to be wanted as a replacement for Roy Carroll, who is set to join Derby County.
Alexander, who saved a penalty in last night's 0-0 draw with Plymouth, joined the Blues from Cardiff City on a Bosman free transfer in the summer.
The Scottish international, called into George Burley's first squad last night, is contracted until June 2010.
Yesterday, former Town keeper Lewis Price was reported to be part of the deal which would see Carroll join Derby, with the Welsh international, who signed for the Rams from Town in the summer, moving to Ibrox on loan.
