Alexander Deal Done - Ipswich Town News
Keeper Neil Alexander has completed his move to SPL side Rangers, signing a contract keeping him at Ibrox until June 2011. The Blues are understood to have received £500,000 for the 29-year-old.
Alexander said: "As soon as I knew Rangers were interested in me, I didn't have to think twice about coming here. There was only going to be one answer for me.
"I'm very grateful to Ipswich for not standing in my way. My manager Jim Magilton said it was a great chance that I might never get again and I agreed.
"This is a fantastic opportunity to come to one of the biggest clubs in Europe and I'm over the moon."
Alexander joined Town from Cardiff City on a free transfer in the summer.
