Middlesbrough Ticket News - Ipswich Town News

Town have been given 2,800 tickets for the Middlesbrough game on Monday April 16th (KO 3pm). These will go on sale on Monday 2nd April to Portman Plus Gold holders and Blues Crew members who are also season ticket holders.

From Wednesday 4th April season ticket holders, Portman Plus and Blues Crew (with qualifying adult) members are entitled to tickets before they go on general sale from Monday 9th April. They cost £15.50 for adults and £8.50 for concessions.

We've had a request for help from famous football photographer Julian Germain. Julian is a Town fan as well as a photographer whose book 'In Soccer Wonderland' (published 5 years ago) has achieved cult status - it was even named as the 20th century's second best football book ever, but only in Holland. The book is a spectacular mix of Julian's twin passions: football and photography.

Now, Julian is researching a new project relating to the Town's UEFA Cup triumph, the 20th anniversary of which is coming up soon. Julian is urgently looking for memorabilia connected to the UEFA Cup run and indeed anything associated with the team between 1980 and 1983 could be of interest to him.

So, did you go to any of the European games or to the Cornhill for the

victory parade that year armed with a camera, even if it was only your Kodak Instamatic? You may well have captured the atmosphere of the occasion. Do you have Panini stickers or bubble gum cards? Does an old scarf bear the names Thijssen or Muhren? In fact, Julian is especially looking for items relating to the two famous Flying Dutchmen. If you can help in any way please either email jger1978@dircon.co.uk or phone 077477 58867.

Both Julian's books, In Soccer Wonderland (£20) and No Mundo (£25) are still available from him at the address below. All proceeds going to the ACA Brazil Library Fund for a kids' library now being built in their shanty town in Belo Horizonte.

The TWTD website has a new section, The Stall where you can buy TWTD and loads of other stuff. Probably the most interesting are the two framed prints we are selling for Unforgettables. These feature the Boys of '81 and some all-time Town legends. To look at these or buy fanzines or cover posters look here: http://www.twtd.co.uk/stall
