U18s Lose to Millwall - Ipswich Town News

A very young Town U18 side suffered a disappointing 2-1 defeat at bottom-of-the-table Millwall on Saturday morning. The young Blues were without the injured Jordan Rhodes and Tommy Smith, while other players were rested after the midweek FA Youth Cup game.

The hosts took the lead after about 15 minutes, before Ollie Fenn equalised with a good strike on 75. Millwall scored what proved to be the winner with five minutes remaining.

Town's next game is at home to Crystal Palace next Saturday. The U16s got back to winning ways with a 3-2 victory over the Lions.

U18s: Ward, Clemo, Dunbar, C Williams, Fenn, Watson, Daniels (Eastman), Hyam, Ainsley, Murphy (Wickham) and Clark. Unused: Traveller and Griffiths.
