Colgan in Reserves Squad - Ipswich Town News

New signing Nick Colgan is expected to make his first appearance in a Town shirt when the reserves take on Grays Athletic at the Recreation Ground this evening (KO 7pm). The Irish international joined the Blues on a short-term deal on deadline day after settling his contract with Barnsley.

Also in the squad is midfielder Gavin Williams, who has been out of first team action due to a thigh strain recently.

Striker Jordan Rhodes and central defender Tommy Smith are both back in action after suffering knocks last week, but Dean Bowditch misses out due to a minor groin problem.

Town's reserves currently top the Pontin's Holidays Football Combination League East Division on a maximum 27 points after nine matches, three points ahead of Norwich City with five games in hand on the Canaries.

Reserves squad: Colgan, Synnott, Fenn, Watson, Smith, C Williams, Trotter, Reason, Murphy, Rhodes, Ward, Ainsley, Clemo, Upson, Haynes, G Williams.
