New Town midfielder Velice Sumulikoski won his 47th Macedonian cap and the first of his Town career as his national side drew 1-1 with Serbia in a friendly in Skopje on Wednesday evening.
Blues defender Alex Bruce was left out of the Ireland side which lost 1-0 to Brazil in a friendly at Croke Park.
Meanwhile, stand-in Irish U21 coach Sean McCaffrey has praised Owen Garvan's performance in their 3-0 defeat to England on Tuesday: "Owen's doing very well. He has a terrific football brain and is very aware of what is going on. He has terrific vision and a great range of passing.
"He has a chance, he's at a club where he has developed when he has been given a opportunity to play. That's crucial. He is definitely a player that has the ability to go on."
