U18s Lose to Palace - Ipswich Town News
A very young Town U18 side lost 3-1 to Crystal Palace at Playford Road on Saturday morning. Paul Murphy netted the Blues goal in the opening minute.
Town, who were without striker Jordan Rhodes and key defender Tommy Smith and who fielded several regular U16 players, were pressing for an equaliser when the Eagles scored their third goal. The U16s won their game 3-0 against the same opposition.
Meanwhile, midfielders Jai Reason and Reggie Lambe were filmed by Sky Sports for Soccer AM's Skills School feature on Friday. They are expected to appear on the show in a fortnight's time.
