Bowditch Could Join Brighton Permanently - Ipswich Town News
Brighton and Hove Albion boss Dean Wilkins says he could offer Dean Bowditch a permanent move to the Withdean Stadium if he impresses during his latest loan spell. The 21-year-old joined the Seagulls on a month's loan last week.
Wilkins said: "We have got to see how it goes. If he shows what he is capable of doing, the answer would probably be yes.
"I know he liked it down here last time, although he didn't play as many games as he would have liked.
"He likes the place, he liked the lads and what we are trying to do. Bringing in somebody who knows us will hopefully benefit us immediately."
Bowditch is expected to make the second start of his current spell when Albion take on Cheltenham at home on Tuesday evening.
Boss Jim Magilton is looking to send more of his fringe players out on loan with several scouts at yesterday's reserve game with Northampton keeping an eye on youngsters like Michael Synnott, Jordan Rhodes and Ed Upson, as well as more senior pros such as Gavin Williams.
