Jim Unhappy at Shane's Lack of Action - Ipswich Town News
Town boss Jim Magilton says he is unhappy that Shane Supple is yet to play for loan club Falkirk. The 20-year-old joined the Bairns at the end of the transfer window in order to gain match experience, but has not featured in either of their games since then.
Magilton said: "I'm concerned that Shane has not been playing and the Falkirk manager [John Hughes] and I have had words.
"But John is someone I have huge respect for and Shane will play games.
"When we let them go we let them go to people we trust and if he doesn't play then we won't be happy, but I trust John.
"It did cross my mind to bring Shane back, but it is cross border so we can't so he is there for the rest of the season.”
Striker Billy Clarke, who joined Falkirk in loan at the same time as Supple, has made two sub appearances so far, but is expected to start in today's home game against Dundee United.
Meanwhile, Stoke City, who Town face later today, have signed Sunderland keeper Marton Fulop on loan.
