Fans visiting London to watch the FA Youth Cup game with Arsenal on Thursday might like to visit the Gunners pub for a pre-match ale or two. Landlord Rob Sturges is a staunch Town fan despite the rather Arsenal related pub name.
Rob wrote to TWTD and said: "I hope that you can inform any fans going to the away leg of the semi that several London based fans are
coming here prior to the game and anybody coming up from Ipswich would be more than welcome also."
"The Gunners is quite an interesting pub being decked out in Arsenal
memorabilia throughout apart from one Town pennant behind the bar! It should be a fun afternoon as I have arranged a pool match with Town fans vs Arsenal fans at 5pm. There is plenty of parking space outside the pub and the location can be found at here: thegunnerspub.co.uk
Sounds ideal for a pre-match ale to me.
