Town Refuse to Release Peters for the Olympics - Ipswich Town News
Town have refused to release winger Jaime Peters to Canada for the CONCACAF Olympic qualifying tournament which is being played in California from today for the rest of the week. The Olympic football tournament involves U23 sides.
Two teams from the CONCACAF competition will qualify for the tournament proper at the summer's Olympics in Beijing.
Peters, 20, is currently on loan at Yeovil, where he has so far made six starts and two substitute appearances.
