Town Keen on Northern Irish Youngster? - Ipswich Town News
Town are reported to be showing interest in 17-year-old Coleraine defender Howard Beverland. The Ballymoney-born player is also interesting former Blue Tony Mowbray at West Brom and will spend Easter on trial at the Hawthorns.
The right-back, who recently signed a two-and-a-half-year deal with his club, has made a huge impression since breaking into the Irish Premier League side's first team this season.
Coleraine manager Marty Quinn says Beverland has a great future ahead of him: "If he keeps progressing, I've no doubt he can make it across the water."
