Murphy Wins Ninth Cap - Ipswich Town News
Academy striker Paul Murphy won his ninth Irish U17 cap as his side lost 2-1 to Greece in their second European Championship elite group qualifier this evening.
Murphy, who came close to putting Ireland ahead in the first half, was replaced at half-time. The Irish youngsters now have to beat Portugal on Tuesday and hope that Germany beat Greece in order to qualify for the finals, which will be held in Turkey in May.
