Roberts Set to Stay - Ipswich Town News
Midfielder Gary Roberts looks set to remain with the Blues for the rest of the season after Crewe admitted failure in their bid to take the former Accrington man on a second month's loan. Roberts returned to action earlier in the week after recovering from the achilles injury which ended his first month.
Crewe coach Steve Holland says he doesn't expect any further developments before next Thursday's emergency loan deadline: "That's an unlikely one as Ipswich are trying to keep their players at the moment.
"I think we were quite fortunate to get Gary last month as our timing was right."
