Sito at the Top - Ipswich Town News

Spanish full-back Sito topped the Actim Index chart for defenders this week with a 40-point haul during Saturday's 2-1 win at Scunthorpe. The former Racing Club de Ferrol man scored the winner at Glanford Park, his first goal in English football.

In addition to his strike, Sito won two tackles, made two clearances, one interception and two blocks, as well as completing 12 passes and two crosses. In doing so he claimed his highest score of the season and climbed 70 places to 353rd with 120 points.

The Blues have seven players in the top 100 with Jon Walters (537) in third (the highest rated striker), his injury having taken him out of the running for the top of the table, Alan Lee (494) in 12th, Jason De Vos (457) in 26th and David Norris (412) in 52nd, David Wright (393) 65th, Pablo Couñago (388) 72nd and Owen Garvan (359) 93rd.
