Roberts Aims to Beat Boos - Ipswich Town News

Midfielder Gary Roberts says he is determined to win over Town fans after again being greeted by boos when he was introduced as a sub during the Blues' 0-0 home draw with QPR.

Roberts said: "It kills me. It gets me down, and it was not what I wanted to hear as I was waiting to go on.

"Fans obviously expect more from me, and this is what I will have to do to win them back over.

"My team mates agree that I have not enjoyed the best of years, but it has not been that bad. It hurts, but I must be strong and get through it.”

Meanwhile, tonight's scheduled reserve game against the MK Dons has been switched until Tuesday and will be played at their training ground at Woughton on the Green with a 2pm kick-off.

Earlier in the season, Jordan Rhodes scored six as Town's second string hammered the Dons 12-1 at Playford Road.
