Walters Making Excellent Progress - Ipswich Town News
Boss Jim Magilton says striker/midfielder Jon Walters is making excellent progress after undergoing knee surgery recently. Walters could be fit even earlier than the six weeks initially projected.
Magilton told the club site: "The specialist is very happy with Jon's progress and he is now working under the expert eye of our medical team.
"He is making rapid strides and has just started light jogging. It's all very positive news at the moment.
"We were told to expect him to be out for six weeks but, without setting him any targets, he could be back fit and well by then."
