Peters and Smith in Loan Action - Ipswich Town News
Jaime Peters made the 10th appearance of his loan spell at Yeovil as the Glovers lost 2-1 at Carlisle on Saturday afternoon. Peters, who was replaced after 68th minutes of his eighth start for the Somerset club, was one of two of the Blues' loan players in action today.
Young central defender Tommy Smith picked up the first yellow card of his senior career as Stevenage Borough lost 1-0 to an Exeter side featuring former Blue Richard Logan. Smith has now made 10 appearances for the Blue Square Premier club, who look certain to win a play-off place.
Billy Clarke and Shane Supple's loan club Falkirk play their final league game of the season against Aberdeen on Monday as they look for a place in the top six of the SPL.
Supple appears set to return to Suffolk without playing a game for Falkirk with Austrian stopper Robert Olejnik keeping him out of the side having kept six clean sheets in the eight games since the Irishman started his loan spell.
Clarke has had rather more involvement, scoring one goal in one start and five sub appearances.
Matt Richards is currently sidelined with a hamstring injury but could return to action with Brighton next week.
