Walters and Kuqi in Squad for Norwich Clash - Ipswich Town News
Frontmen Jon Walters and Shefki Kuqi have both been included in the Town squad for Sunday's sell-out home derby with Norwich City. The Finn, on loan from Crystal Palace, is back after a hamstring problem, while Walters has been out having undergone knee surgery.
Boss Jim Magilton says the pair will be assessed today before a decision is made on whether to include them in the final 16: "Jon has worked very hard under the supervision of our medical team and we are delighted with the progress he has made.
"We will have another look at him in training today and go from there, but he is in the squad for the derby.
"Shefki is also in contention. Again, he has worked hard and we will make a late call on him after assessing his fitness."
David Norris remains on the sidelines with his heel problem, while there is no place in the squad for Liam Trotter, Fabian Wilnis, Sylvain Legwinski or Dean Bowditch.
Squad: Bruce, Bywater, Couñago, Colgan, De Vos, Garvan, Harding, Haynes, Kuqi, Lee, Miller, Quinn, Rhodes, Roberts, Simpson, Sito, Sumulikoski, Walters, Williams, Wright.
