Reserves at Colchester - Ipswich Town News
Town's reserves are in action against Colchester United at Layer Road this afternoon (KO 2pm, free admission). The Blues are fielding a side which is a mixture of youth and experience.
Fabian Wilnis, Nick Colgan, Dan Harding, Gary Roberts and Gavin Williams are amongst the more senior players, alongside academy youngsters like Jordan Rhodes, Jai Reason, Ed Upson, Joe Clemo and Paul Watson.
The reserves, who have already won the Pontin's Holidays Combination League East Division, have only the league game away at Luton on April 29th left to play after today, plus a play-off against the winners of the Central Division on a date yet to be set. The likely opponents in that game are Charlton or Southampton.
Reserves: Colgan, Clemo, Watson, Wilnis, Harding, Williams, Upson, Trotter, Roberts, Rhodes, Bowditch. Subs: Plummer, Robinson, Reason, Lambe, Ainsley.
