Supple Makes Second Falkirk Appearance - Ipswich Town News

Shane Supple made the second appearance of his loan spell with Falkirk as the Bairns lost 1-0 to St Mirren at Love Street on Saturday afternoon. Fellow Town loanee Billy Clarke came on as a 72nd minute sub.

Elsewhere, Tommy Smith made the 15th and final appearance of his loan spell with Stevenage Borough, Peter Taylor's side failing to make the Blue Square Premier play-offs by one place and two points.

Smith impressed during his time at Broadhall Way and looks set to be a member of Jim Magilton's first team squad next season.

Matt Richards was back in action for Brighton after his hamstring injury, making his 27th appearance of the season for the Seagulls as they defeated Bristol Rovers 2-0 at the Memorial Ground. Former Blue Ian Westlake, on loan from Leeds, scored the first goal. Albion no longer have a chance of a play-off place.

Richards is out of contract with the Blues in the summer and will consider whether to join Albion or look for a move elsewhere at the end of the season. Town appear highly unlikely to offer the former England U21 international a new deal.

Jaime Peters, contracted to the Blues until 2010, played the full 90 minutes on Friday as Yeovil lost 1-0 at home to Leeds.
