Fab: I Want to Be Boss - Ipswich Town News

Veteran defender Fabian Wilnis says that one day he would like to manage the Blues. Wilnis's nine-year playing career with Town looks set to come to an end in the summer when his current contract comes to an end.

TWTD revealed in February that the 37-year-old had begun to help out coaching Town's reserves and the Dutchman says he would love to have the top job at Portman Road at some point in the future: "I'd like to move into management one day and my real dream is to manage Ipswich Town.

"This football club has been a big part of my life for many years. I won't be looking to move into management overnight like Jim. I want to work my way up so that I can experience the coaching side before management. But one day I'd love the job here.”

Wilnis joined the Blues from De Graafschap in January 1999 for £200,000.
