Town to Reprise Blue Sunday - Ipswich Town News
Town will again be handing out cards to fans at the turnstiles on Sunday in order to turn Portman Road blue when the players emerge from the tunnel. The club did the same thing ahead of the 2-1 derby victory over Norwich City.
The Blues are also offering supporters the chance to win a place in next season's squad photo at the official photocall during pre-season for 2008/09.
Fans can enter the competition by filling in the bottom of the blue card and sending it to the club or dropping it in to any of the Planet Blue shops.
Boss Jim Magilton says the cards were noticed by the players at the derby game: "Our fans have been magnificent this year and we all noticed the blue cards at the Norwich game and the fantastic atmosphere the supporters created.
"The noise could be heard in our dressing room and really added to the occasion. We need to turn the volume up again on Sunday. It's a football cliché but it's right, supporters really can be the 12th man.â€Â
