Murphy Scores as Irish Lose - Ipswich Town News

Academy striker Paul Murphy scored for the Republic of Ireland as they lost 2-1 to France in their opening game at the UEFA Under 17 Championship Finals in Turkey.

Murphy, winning his 11th U17 cap, netted from close range in the 37th minute. Ireland take on Switzerland on Wednesday and then Spain on the following Saturday.
