Jim Yet to Speak to Bowditch and Sito on Futures - Ipswich Town News

Boss Jim Magilton says he is yet to speak to the Blues' out-of-contract players regarding their futures. A report earlier today claimed that Dean Bowditch had been told he had been released but the claim appears premature, while suggestions that Spanish full-back Sito had been offered a new deal appear similarly presumptuous.

Magilton told the club site: "I wanted to let the dust settle on the season after last week before speaking to the players.

"I will be talking to Sito, Dean and the other lads to discuss things over the next few days and then we will move on from there but nothing has been confirmed yet."

Nick Colgan is also out of contract having come to the end of his short-term deal, while Shefki Kuqi, Danny Simpson and Stephen Bywater were all on loan with the Blues.

Kuqi and Bywater have both said they want to remain with Town, while Simpson may be a possible signing if, as reported earlier today, he has no future at Old Trafford.

Veterans Sylvain Legwinski, Fabian Wilnis and Jason De Vos are all set to leave the club at the end of their contracts this summer.
