Healy: I'm Committed to Fulham - Ipswich Town News
Town target David Healy says he is committed to Fulham. Boss Jim Magilton is known to want to sign the Northern Irish international striker, who has failed to hit form since joining the Cottagers a year ago.
Healy, named as Northern Ireland Football Writers' International Personality of the Year earlier in the week, says he is determined to make a success of his spell at Craven Cottage: "Whether we stayed up or went down, I would have been committed to the club.
"They spent money to bring me here and gave me the opportunity to play in the Premier League.
"My family have moved down as well and the kids are in school, so we are settled. It is all a learning curve.
"I want to help bring success to Fulham. Finishing in the top half of the table and having a good cup run has to be our ambition.â€Â
However, Healy, who has three years left on his contract, has largely been out of the first team since Roy Hodgson took over as manager and it could be that the striker finds himself surplus to requirements either over the summer or early in the new season.
