The Naked Sports Show Starts Tonight - Ipswich Town News

This evening sees the cutting of The Naked Sports Show ribbon, as Ipswich Community Radio's summer sporting programme takes to the airwaves for the very first time (6-6.30pm). Presented by Phil Pritchard and The Vulture, the show's inaugural guests are Graham Blackburn and Ray Slegg.

Tonight's programme will feature play-off-based football chat, ITFC, the predictability of the Premier League and England's chances in Euro 2008. Oh.

The panel will also be previewing the high profile guests they have lined up for the summer and other features they intend to run, such as The Vulture's Venture and Toddler's Tip, in which The Vulture takes on a two-year-old in a summer-long racing tipster competition and loses.

There will also be talk on speedway and cricket as well as other sports, while listener participation is welcomed. Send in your comments by email to nakedsportsshow@icrfm.co.uk.

The Naked Football Show is taking a break for the summer, but Phil and Graham will be presenting ICR's Monday breakfast programme instead. Contributions on all things football, sport or anything else most welcome, especially requests for music. More details here.

ICR can be heard in the immediate Ipswich area on 105.7FM and has an eclectic array of programmes, which include almost any style of music you can think of promoting local bands and musicians, as well as morning and magazine shows, in addition to foreign language programmes in Polish, Portuguese, Cantonese, Farsi and Hindi.

If you're not in the Ipswich area, the show can be heard live online at http://www.icrfm.co.uk, while the programme will be available as a podcast via TWTD tomorrow.
