Accrington Want to Re-Sign Roberts - Ipswich Town News
Accrington Stanley chairman Eric Whalley has revealed that he has spoken to Town winger Gary Roberts regarding a possible return to the Lancashire club. The winger joined the Blues from League Two Stanley in 2007 for a fee of £220,000 after a loan spell.
Whalley said: "We have been speaking to Gary - the manager talks to him a lot anyway.
"I think he is available on a free and he is someone we have spoken to, so we will have to see what happens."
Roberts, who Accrington previously tried to re-sign on loan last season, has two years left on his Town contract, but was one of five players recently transfer-listed by boss Jim Magilton.
