Neither Alex Bruce nor Owen Garvan made it on to the field as Ireland drew Giovanni Trapattoni's first game in charge 1-1 with Serbia at Croke Park, Dublin on Saturday evening.

Garvan has another chance to win his first cap and Bruce his second on Thursday when the Irish meet Colombia at Fulham's Craven Cottage.
