Croft Back? - Ipswich Town News
Shamed Town star Gary Croft could make a return to the Town line-up as early as the QPR game on October 16th.
The former Grimsby and Blackburn player may well be facing six months in prison after being charged with three counts of driving whilst disqualified, three counts of driving without insurance and one of perverting the course of justice.
Croft, banned from driving for six months for speeding last July, was stopped by police on three occasions in his recently purchased BMW and allegedly gave false information to officers.
Ultimately he was recognised and was arrested. Town appear to have no plans to get rid of the player or even suspend him, although he is not likely to be in the reserve squad playing at Colchester tomorrow afternoon.
