Clingan Linked Again - Ipswich Town News

Nottingham Forest midfielder Sammy Clingan is once again linked with a move to the Blues by one of this morning's tabloids. The 24-year-old is out of contract at the City Ground and is also said to be interesting QPR and Norwich City.

Clingan was initially linked with the Blues back in March and again late last month.

The Northern Irish international has been offered a new deal by the newly promoted Tricky Trees but is stalling on signing it, presumably while he assesses what options are available elsewhere.

Meanwhile, we understand Dagenham and Redbridge left-back or left midfielder Scott Griffiths is on Jim Magilton's list of possible summer signings.
Griffiths is expected to move to a bigger club after an impressive first season in the Football League with the Daggers.

The 22-year-old Essex-born player joined Dagenham from Ryman League side Aveley in 2004, having played mainly as a left midfielder. Since his switch, he has made the Dagenham left-back role his own and won caps with the England National Game XI during the Daggers' time in the Conference.
