Squad for Boro - Ipswich Town News
Town have the same squad for the Boro game that George Burley selected from for Saturday's 1-0 win over Newcastle. There are a couple of worries after the Newcastle game, but the squad is still a strong one.
Fabian Wilnis limped off with an injured ankle in the second half on Saturday while James Scowcroft is suffering with a groin problem. Both are thought to be doubtful.
Titus Bramble could return to the side if Wilnis misses out. George Burley left the England U21 defender out on Saturday as he felt he was mentally tired after a demanding first full season in the first team. Mark Venus may also be in the running to fill the central defensive role with Hermann Hreidarsson likely to move to left-back and Chris Makin to the right.
Today's referee is Rob Harris from Oxford.
Town squad: R Wright, Branagan, Makin, Clapham, Wilnis, Hreidarsson, McGreal, Bramble, Venus, J Wright, Magilton, Holland, Reuser, Scowcroft, Stewart, Armstrong, Burchill.

Blackburn Rovers 1-0 Ipswich Town - Match AbandonedTown look set to face a return trip to Blackburn Rovers later in the season after this afternoon’s game was abandoned after 80 minutes due to a waterlogged pitch with the home side 1-0 up and with the Blues down to 10 men. Jacob Greaves was shown a straight red card four minutes after the break for hauling down Yuki Ohashi, then Rovers skipper Todd Cantwell netted a penalty on 59, but the heavy rain had made the game increasingly farcical the longer it progressed and in the 80th minute referee Stephen Martin took the players off and then 25 minutes later abandoned it entirely.
