Tilson Confirms Southend Interest in Sito - Ipswich Town News
Southend United boss Steve Tilson has confirmed that he is interested in signing released Town defender Sito. The Spaniard was not offered a new contract by the Blues when his current deal was up at the end of the season.
TWTD reported on Monday that the Shrimpers were after the former Racing Club de Ferrol man and Tilson says he has held talks with the full-back's representative: "He's a decent player and we've spoken to his agent.
"We have a few options in that area though, so I am not sure what is going to happen."
The 28-year-old made 51 starts and 12 sub appearances for the Blues, scoring one goal, having joined on a free transfer in 2005 after a trial.
