Mpenza Interest Ended - Ipswich Town News
Town have told Rachid Tajmout, Emile Mpenza's agent, that they are no longer interested in his player, according to reports in the Belgian press.
Last week Tajmout insisted that the released Manchester City striker's switch to the Blues was still on, despite chief executive Derek Bowden having previously ruled out a move for the Belgian international.
According today's reports, a deal had been under discussion but the Blues have subsequently withdrawn their interest.
